No no no because I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW GOOD THIS BOOK IS?!?!?! GENUINELY GOOD!!!!

I’m soooo invested in Anna and Levin and everyone surrounding them like when (SPOILERS) we find out Kitty’s pregnant right after Nikolai’s death I am actually shaking and I feel everything

Sam, am I wrong in saying that Tolstoy writes quite biblically? Maybe it’s the Bible size of the book hehe but there’s something about the parable-like events and reflections of the characters (I’m thinking Anna and Aleksei Karenin in specific, but there’s something to be said about Levin’s farm work and relationship with the mushiks too) that gives Holy Bible to me.

Everyone in this book is hot (I’ve made everyone in this book hot)
