I give up. I'm throwing the towel in. There's never been a Jodi Picoult book I haven't loved and it's rare that I quit on a book without finishing. But I just can't do it. I can't get into this one. The modern day story is more engaging to me than the historical fiction. Still, I'm not enjoying it whatsoever and am moving onto something I enjoy picking up.
