with issue 21 we are back to peak. this rules so hard, i love morpheus as a villain and i love how all the dream sequences are rendered. and you know I'm a sucker for a story that examines a hero's psychology. i still cannot bring myself to care about the bonus stories. they are a marked downgrade from the main book.

Moon Knight #21 is fun. i miss bill ofc but the stand in artist did a good job, and i think his use of thick lines and heavy shadows added to the murky swampy atmosphere quite well. moon knight is in some kind of mood though, i mean even more than usual this guy won't shut up lol. i could not care less about the tacked on 'stories of khonshu' bit. why do they keep thinking they need to add extras? they don't

moon knight #20 is not bad but what in the world was going on with the punctuation???? more specifically the lack thereof. was the editor asleep? cool art and glad to finally be done with this story arc

moon knight #19 is once again a continuation of the nimrod strange arc and --much to my dismay-- it hasn't ended yet. picking up steam a little bit though, and it looks like they're FINALLY leaving the jungle next issue so there's that. the beliefs and goals of this terrorist group remain confounding to me. please let this next issue finally conclude this storyline i need peak again

while there is some solid prose and ok art in moon knight #18, the clunky exposition and lackluster villains bring this issue down for me. i just don't vibe with the nimrod strange crew i guess. not to mention this is the first time in this run that the political commentary mostly falls flat for me. i kind of get what they're going for, but it isn't totally cohesive to me. ready for this arc to be over honestly

issue 17 was all right, and it's nice to have moench and sienkiewicz back, but i just didn't really care about the plot of this one. also i am not a huge fan of the marc spector stories they've started adding to these. i thought it was a one off for the issue moench didn't write but i guess not :/

doug moench and bill sienkiewicz did not work on issue 16 for some reason. all i will say is they were sorely missed

issue 15 is uh... poignant

this book keeps getting better gang!!!

HEY NOW issue 14 rules. stainer glass scarlet is peak. genuine film noir stuff, right up there with a good daredevil run. also it's very cool to see bill sienkiewicz get better/more confident in real time. super good issue

im sorry i don't care about the jester at all he is a product of pre-miller daredevil and tonally out of place in this series. it was fun seeing daredevil meet moon knight and i want to see more of them together but this book was just not it
