Mmmm. The heroine is supposed to be a young woman in Victorian times, but she sounds like NA from contemporary. The penny dreadful story is painful to read (probably the only thing right sounding), and nobles give away thousands of pounds like candies on a Halloween night. Research thy enemy... Even in alt some things have to be coherent....

Hahaha, Mara, as I said in my review, this book reads like a silent movie: it's exaggerated in all things exactly like a silent movie! You get what I mean? *wink*
