I could tell this guy was either a "journalist" or in academia by some blatantly biased comments about Mickey's books on pg. 2 ! Sure enough, when I looked him up, he's both. He's also worked on "political" campaigns as press secretary. At some point, I have no doubt he's going off on Spillane's conservatism, and dragging Richard Prather in there too, from around the same time. His bias is palpable, an uncalled for.
