I finished reading about a military camp that had horrible conditions. Those running the camp were sent to death. I have now finished my book and everything else is the index and such.

I learned about the conditions in confedrate prisoner of war camps and how they lacked food and starved people

I learned about how certain people from the confedracy dealt with union people who supported the union and how they killed them.

I learned a story about a girl named Neely who shot her slave. She was let away with a short sentence of $1,000, this shows the racial injustice at the time.

"most notorious crime in US history. But about Booth's supporting cast? Were they all guilty as charged?' is a play on pathos because they are using curiosity; they give a crime everyone is familiar with, but ask questions to hook the reader in with curiosity and pathos.

I learned about a massacre committed by the confederacy against black people.

I learned that in the civil war the confederacy tried burning down the capital

In my book I learned about the Lawrence massacre and how bloody bill Anderson was behind it and tied a knot in a rope for everyone he killed, which was over 50 people.

I learned about how children would sometimes be killed with their families. I learned a story of kids who were driven to die where their father and grandfather had died.
