This is a retelling of The Great Gatsby, expect they are the elite high schoolers (think Gossip Girl). And these are 2 of my favorite things, The Great Gatsby and Gossip Girl, except this version is too crazy to have high schoolers as the main characters. Like running over a girl on a bike cause you’re drunk driving and your cheating bf called out your lesbian secret gf, crazy.

Gatsby is a girl, so I get the feeling that the love her is going to be interesting for sure. Nothing like a strong woman to go up against a wife beater in the 20s.

Not as queer as I thought, but still has some lesbian elements. Really good though, but also what story based off of the Great Gatsby isn’t good?

I can’t tell how LGBTQIA this book is gonna be.
