One complaint I have of this author is that her books start in her present time, then she reflects on the past. I always feel like I'm getting an epilogue instead of a prologue

I’ve had this physical book staring at me from my tbr pile for a while now, maybe a sign I should read it! Her other book I’ve read “the outlaw hearts” had a similar vibe with bad guys I think

The universe is calling out to you;) This book is definitely worth the try. I haven't read Outlaw Hearts, so I can't compare, but I'll be curious what you think of this book
