So far the backstory is good and I can see a lot of potential for the through line with these books being good.

Our 2 MCs are both cool too. No BS cut to the chase, strong personalities.

But,

Dare I say the way theyre discussing their mating - theyre sucking the fun and intrigue out of it with their NO BS cut to the chase strong personalities. I need a lil more mystery and intrigue.
