So according to the newscaster this is the first manned flight to Mars? They showed us how big the other two ships were, how on earth do you keep that hidden? Heck, why still claim this is in the 27th century when everything not related to the Mars mission looks like from the late 1990s or early 2000s?

So... not only do I wonder how the roaches know that the drugs give the people special powers (you could argue that some remember that from Bugs02 [btw. Bugs01 was actually 42 years ago from this here]) but how did they know where to find the drugs or recognize them?

A roach is on board (somehow) and the first victim is a chinese woman who got ripped in half and lower arms ripped off.... when they earlier said that lots of women are on board I expected immediately that the 1st victim would be one, and that most victims would be women and most survivors men.
PS. How on earth did that roach (and the others) get on the ship?

How come that they still all wear the same coat-like "uniforms" after 20 days in space?

So our Japanese protagonist just happened to meet some terminally ill (the alien virus) 10 year old kid in the US hospital (and yeah he is definitely from Japan), am I supposed to belief this is pure coincidence on the writer's part?

Oh great, the whole "humans just kill roaches for the heck of it" when in truth that is not the reason, many people react to roaches the way they do is culturally based, because roaches symbolize uncleanliness and disease to so many of us.

So apart from the Bugs01 and Bugs02 there were unmanned flights to Mars? Why did no robots manage to get the job done?

They need to go to Mars to have samples of the virus because they cannot cultivate it... but why? The virus apparently can spread on earth and kill people, so apparently there is an environment in which it can thrive, so why can't they cultivate it? Why not take samples from the infected? Heck, what difference does it make to take samples on Mars? This story is really just a dumb excuse to have humans fight roaches.

Apart from viruses not being lethal to their hosts because they need to survive but rather because of the host's immune system, that Alien virus not only looks like an Egyptian Ankh with scales (I am serious here) but for some reason cannot be cultivated, this screams artificial creation but somehow they did not consider this.

You want to know where the alien virus comes from? Oh I don't know, maybe the roach head we saw last volume or the two bigass roaches that were shown on earth apparently in the area where you are. In fact you caught them so why on earth can't you think of that? In fact, where did they get these things?

so now they say that "dark algae like moss" were sent to Mars... so is that a translation error or does the writer have no idea that moss and algae are not the same thing?
