So Nina is unwell. I'm not sure what's going on here, what is the point of the antics, is she a sadist? Is this a humiliation ritual? All this conflicting information and her daughter seems to be in cahoots. The writing is a bit clunky though, like stream of consciousness storytelling.

Chapters 6-8 down. So Nina is "high strung"... I'm not too fond of her, she seems very manipulative and I'm not loving Millie bending to her for the sake of keeping the job (it seems her incarceration has diluted her perceived value.)
