This book is a nightmare. Not what I expected as a previously-decent author's third published work. Not only is the writing eyeroll-worthy in so many areas, but there's no plot to speak of. Unless you count that flimsy thing that is only addressed 4 or 5 times briefly before it ties back in with the overall series story line. Ugh. Because why shouldn't a third book in a series be all filler?
