M/M. Good story so far. Unknown guy (obviously with a background of an assassin or something but with a conscience and loves dogs) finds a brutally beaten cop in the woods behind his house. Against his better judgment he anonymously gets him to a hospital and then becomes his secretive, behind the scenes guardian angel. Another "In the Closet" Goodreads story.
