Honestly, I’m struggling with this one. The writing just … doesn’t grab me and hold on. It isn’t *terrible*, but it isn’t attention-stealing, either. There are also some formatting issues concerning line spacing. In some paragraphs the lines are crowded close together which makes reading a little difficult. I’ll assume it’s a printing issue but… 🤷🏼♀️

It is so BLAND. I am really struggling to get through it. I’ve read three other books since the time I started this one. I’m seriously considering DNFing it.

I’m enjoying it better than the prequel so far. It’s still not the best writing I’ve ever encountered but the story is enjoyable enough to keep reading.
