A great pleasure so far. Structurally interesting — the really short chapters make it tempting to do “just one more, just one more,” like a breezy modern airport novel. Each chapter tends to offer a tiny bit of plot progress, flowing into an abstract philosophical reverie inspired by some element of the story. Then the chapter ends and a new one starts with another tiny step forward in the plot. Almost Homeric.
