guys i'm no academic but something's seriously wrong with the freuds. it's so bullshit. oh this two year old kid's mom told me that he once pretended to be in pain after seeing a bucket fall into a well, so this is OBVIOUSLY related to his fear of castration and attachment to his penis, like WHAT. the whole thing feels incredibly unscientific.

Literally any Freud is basically better at creating some random ass hypothesis supported by little empirical evidence man, but to be honest psychoanalysis as a whole is kind of esoteric.

But that's exactly what it means, TFC ... I think. I remember this happened to my cousin, and my aunty went hysterical with concern. He's fine now, though.
