Unfortunately I feel like Sabriel lacks some personality, which I have seen in some reviews, so at least I was prepared for that. I do however find Mogget fascinating. He chaffs under the the lack of freedom but still gives Sabriel the means to keep him in control. It seems like even he can't control his full version or self, so the cost of his freedom is at least worth it for now and that's like a really cool aspect

And to continue without the word count limit, I think this is a really creative take on the world of the dead, I just wish that Sabriel had just a little bit of extra depth that wasn't just an inflection I added when reading her lines and thoughts in my head. Like there's show don't tell, but this doesn't do enough of either. Still enjoying it tho
