I wish the author didn’t make the FL stubborn and defensive. You don’t need to have miscommunication to have a plot. Sue Lynn tan really loves betrayal plots though. So many things that could’ve been executed better which is a shame bc this is a good story. Hope it gets better?

I knew sue lynn would pull through but also just makes it more of a shame that the first half wasn’t as flushed out. Liyin’s inner monologue gets very flat and repetitive, same sentence structure, all the rhetorical questions…but I am excited to read how it ends but also sad that there will be no more liyin and zhangwei afterwards…
