I think that the theme of this book would be friendly. As soon as Lia meets Elijah, she feels a certain connection to him and tells her about herself and he does the same. For example, on page 121, they start a conversation and ask each other questions. Elijah asks, "How old are you?" Lia reeplies with,"18." They really connected to each other fast but, I hope its not to fast.

Lia is changing a lot. It says "I cannot believe this." Before she was taking it all in and really adjusting to her being gone. Now since she is finding out how this happened, she can't really believe what happened and why it happened. I hope that she can get back to before because if she cannot handle this, I think she will have a mental breakdown.

I ink that the theme of this part of the book would be friendly. As soon as Lia meets Elijah, she feels a certain conncection to him and tells her about herself and he does the same. For example, on page 121, they start a conversation and ask each other questions. Elijah says "I'm appalled. How old are you?" Lia replies with "18." They really connected to each other fast but, I hope its not to fast.

I think that the theme of this book is friendship. All Lia and Emma do is stick together. They never leave each others side and when they need help with something, they can always count on each other! Also, it could be depression. With how things are going, I could understand why Lia would feel depressed.

I can tell that Emma is a very shy and scared person. In the text it says, "Other people are watching." I thought that this was unfair to Lia because she is an open person who loves who she is. I hope that Emma changes throughout this book because I would not be able to deal with a person who doesn't accept the real me.
