Chapter 168. I feel like the friend of a couple who constantly break up and make up. You don’t get involved because they always make up and then you’re the asshole. I’m over it and Anna deserves everything she gets. With the exception of Alex’s team, every character is trash. Even Justin went MIA and never looked her way again after night 1. Stef is cool though.

“I listened to her thoughts as she contemplated what I asked. She’s terrified, because of Devin, but hopes that you’ll forgive her if she does.”

And Alex is on my shit list. I don’t care for redemption arcs like most people because I find them lacking and shallow. There’s no justification for his acting like Devin and lording over her. I’ll be glad when she gets full freedom and fucks off to Paris to join that ballet company. Real fresh start.

“Sebastian and I were going to erase her memories of Devin to eliminate the threat for Anna, but when we started, we saw the hurt that caused her to act the way she does.” Alex smiled. “Sebastian healed her.”

I didn’t think I’d miss Jenna, but I’m kind of sad she wouldn’t be there to see it. Fucking Devin!

“Seth casually lowered himself to his knees until he was inches from her face. “I’m not one to hurt women, but if you even so much as look up Devin’s number, I will slit your throat.”

Okay Anna, now you’re proving to me why you need people to tell you what to do because girl, get a grip. Alex didn’t do anything to deserve the way you’re treating him.
