Not a religious book after all. Thank goodness. Cozy mystery combines Thaddeus's quest to defend this pretty woman with a travelogue-like glimpse of the Toronto era during a bygone time. At times I think Lewis's inner narrative could stand to be edited down, but it's a good story.
