- And I'm so excited to see this get adapted again. There's so much in the dialogue that is never included in the prose - ex: Lee mentioning translating poetry followed by "No don't worry, I won't read any." Which is hilarious! You can imagine the men's faces, but it's never detailed.

A few halfway through thoughts:
- If I tried to read this book for the first time now, I would bounce off of it so hard. The amount of philosophizing would not work for me. But I still love it! Because the book has imprinted on my teenage brain. Maybe something to be said there for forced school reading lol.
