Aristotle admits that for one to be happy they require the "instruments for happiness." He says this is why we attribute a person with fortune or virtue as being happy.

He talks on the idea that all works; whether honor, skills, etc, are done for the good of perceived happiness but happiness is desired for itself. He then dives to explore if man has a work, just as a role give man a work. If we do have a work, happiness can be found there.
