Hmm…the world building isn’t the clearest. Kinda confused a little by it tbh but I think I sort of get what the author is trying to convey?? Anyway I don’t think there’s an explanation for the world and it is just what it is. However I’ve been hooked from the first chapter which is a good sign AND it had a map in front (also good sign!). Books with maps tend to be good imo.
