SLOW BURN. I’m into Greek mythology, but this one just isn’t hitting anything special with me. Athene constantly makes me roll my eyes and Danaës anxiety just stresses me out. If I could ‘dnd’ a book, this would probably be it. I’m 30% through, so I’ll just finish it for the sake of being done.

Perseus is a coward. Athena is disgusting. Medusa was raped in a temple and subject to cruelty because of what was done to her. The fact that she led him to her, assisted in her execution. . Just reinforces my personal opinions about a lot. This story is making me angry. So glad I’m almost done though.
