Sensorimotor knowledge is a form of conceptual knowledge, we just overintellectualize our own conceptual skills (as if “that’s red” was something you could give a justification for). The fineness-of-grain case for nonconceptual content, conversely, overestimates the detailedness of our experience. Nonhumans can have protoconcepts understood as context-bound islands of rationality (e.g. Sheba’s numbers)
