I'm reading this while on and off watching The Rookie aaaaand, this is sort of a portion where the book has lost me some. I liked hearing bits of her memories, but now this sorta just feels like/is all of her memories while living... which isn't bad, but also - not what I expected.

This book is losing me some ngl. I wish it was more... Idk. Maybe ambiguously religious (?) vs there being a character straight up called "God"

I read a little bit of this before just to make sure I'd actually be interested, but now I'm going to read it for real. Got about 50 pages in initially. Now I'm re-starting from page 1.
