John Green’s nonfiction writing always reminds me how thankful I am to be here and to pay attention to the world around me. I’ve always been interested in epidemiology, access to resources, and government intervention, particularly with the AIDS crisis. I don’t know much about tuberculosis. Bringing his wit and sensitivity to this topic has taught me so much about this global injustice. Excited to learn more!
