oh baby it's summer and I just went through a huge life change (finished grad school :P) , so you know what that means... time to reread a hunger games book, and im choosing this one bc ive read it the least amount of times x

- heavensbee staircase
- wyatt saying something protective about lou lou and haymitch being surprised bc he’s an ‘oddsmaker’

why does snow talking about lucy gray/the covey and haymitch thinking about lenore lowkey remind me of gale 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

i love how haymitch is katniss with better social skills

wanting to film haymitchs birthday cake reminds me of when corrupt volunteer organizations film themselves giving starving children a hug or something😭

thinking ab how masiylee getting picked is an allegory for how wealthy people think theyre protected from oppressive governments but theyre not

SPOILERS
the fan service is a bit much but at least we know burdock, and so katniss, descended from maude ivory and lenore dove descended from lucy gray (but not coriyo)

i have literally only put this book down to sleep

this is more important to my survival than food, air, and water tbh
