"Body and Blood" is the author's depiction of religion taken to a predictable extreme in this escalation and perversion of the rituals in the churches as time marches into a new era.

"Objects in Mirror" and "Mechanical Pariots" were tonight's stories and I really enjoyed both. The first featured Sterling McPleasant AKA the Mudhoney Butcher arriving in Empyrean and finding out that only the "best" people get in, not righteous.The second story addressed the depersonalization that troops faced on foreign soil to treat the women and chidren like animals.I believe this occurred more in the early wars.

Tonight I read "Sick Again" and "Between Screaming and Crying". The former is a tale of a man murdering his wife's lover. The story is from perspective of the husband but with imagined responses by the absent wife. It portays a man who comprehends that he is the catalyst for her unfaithfulness and that the boy is but a pawn.He lacks the will to end it.The latter is an imaginative tale of Janice and Crazy Jane.Best ye
