no one except emer martin could ever have me successfully keep track of this many characters at once

not — enjoying feels like the wrong word considering how devastating my favorite of her books were, but — not enjoying as much as martin's other books i've read. of course i knew this wouldn't come close to the cruelty men or to thirsty ghosts because nothing can but still:( writing is good though
