She argues there aren’t enough women’s stories about unmarried older women without children… I do not find that to be the case generally. I feel as though three quarters of the books I have read in the last several years are about unmarried women without children. Guess I’ll have to check the data.

I don’t think I’m gonna get through this one on the second try, either. I care about it because I miss Paris, but I’m not sure I care about the narrator yet— even at a quarter of the way through.
