This book is brilliant. I haven’t read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and am about to listen to it, while I’m reading this. But I linda love that in getting this perspective first. It’s so good.

Update: I’ve been listening to huckleberry Finn while out on walks and reading James at home. Huckleberry Finn is a great book and I’m so embarrassed and sad I didn’t know to love Twain sooner. And Perceval Everett is an American treasure. This book is insightful, beautifully written and painfully humanizing. So so good.
