Page 127 has one of the most sideswiping flagrantly appalling in tone lines in a book and I don't think it meant to be.

Surprised we're getting to what's happening to Selena so early in the book, I would have thought this would be discovered later.

Laughing nervously at there being no chapter breaks apparently.
