I don't like it as much as his other books. He's telling the information about characters and events in Norse mythology, but not in the way he tells a tale that he's created. Kind of like picking up a local folklore collection, its more like hearing someone recollect a partial dream than reading a fully fleshed out tale. Note, he's one of my favorite authors.
