Never before have I wanted to strangle words and pages so much as I do now.
While one character is so obtuse he wouldn't (and indeed doesn't) notice if the author dropped the plot onto his very lap, (not to mention he'd forget immediately) the other would never, even with a gun to his head, refuse to leave the comfort of his library!
