3/4 done and some thoughts;
- can’t help but compare certain scenes to DV and Substance Use themes:
Lying to friends/family, keeping and covering up secrets, counting days and trying to have a goal of a certain # of days to prove there isn’t a problem, trying to find a hypothetical line that if crossed means there will be boundaries, etc.
- 3/4 of the way thru means shit will hit the fan soon I’m guessing.

I had the exact same thought, it's 100% an addiction that he believes can be overcome by ignoring it. Especially how every time his emotions were heightened, it was feared that he would fall back onto "bad habits" .
