I’m jealous of all the field trips this class is able to take! Life in Alaska sure is like a different planet compared to the school district policies in South Florida! The author does an amazing job this chapter with imagery to make the reader feel like they are there! And also, things are on a steady decline.

I’m along for the ride with the Allbrights. I’m not sure if I should be sceptic of this move or not. “You’re allowed one mistake. The second one will kill you.” I’m as curious as Lena is… What exactly is the danger? The animals? The weather? The people? So far the people seem nice, but almost too nice. I may be way overthinking this book!
