Trying to figure out if it’s worth reading the Vampire diaries and Interview with a vampire series. I love supernatural/gothic fiction but a super picky about vampire stuff. I don’t like stories where they’re just mindless or power hungry threats for the human heroes - and I get super bored with romance novels.

I want to read vampire stuff but most of what I want to read I need to write myself😅
