This book is something of a slog. Not super clear on the central conflict, and if there are any sort of stakes to character development, they're undercut by the fact that these futuristic humans are virtually immortal. I don't want to DNF, but I need to resume my Sander-thon.

Kelhi wrote: "I have no idea what this means, but I like it."XD It's a 1955 sci-fi from my great-uncle's collection that imagines a future in which entire cities essentially become spaceships; Pittsburgh moves to Mars and turns the whole planet into Pittsburgh, meanwhile OG Pittsburgh (now Pittsburgh Valley) becomes an Edenic retirement location characteristic of the whole Earth (because all the cities are gone). It's quite the trip so far.
