This book has a very high average rating, but so far I’m not really vibing with it. The first scene after the prologue is really messy. Our protagonist goes from the assertion that she will never love again to thirsting after the new neighbor in about two seconds flat. I can’t get a grasp on what the tone of this book is supposed to be.
