Ugh… book 1 was so funny. Whimsical, crazy, silly. It was the lighthearted kind of nightmarish-fairy-tale. As I wrote in my review of book 1, I picked up the book as it sort of made me think of me and my boss (“Assistant to the Boss”).
But now book 2 there’s much…. Romance wannabe elements it’s turned into a bore. Fanfiction type of shipping? It’s really making me feel like giving up the book……
