At the stage of the romance genre cliche wherein the female lead tries her best to strip herself of every redeeming quality whilst sabotaging their relationship because shes oh so traumatized. The love interest acts like any sane man wouldn't: he continues to be obsessed with her, and he becomes even more determined to be with her. I hate this part. The dude is borderline cannonizable. Learn your value, King. Run.

Holy narcasistic victim complex on Briana. Jeez, she stinks. This book isn't as bad as the first 2 chapters had me believing.

Briana is so unlikeable. She can rest easy knowing she won't be missed once she dead. She sucks.
Dudes in books like these are always Sykkuno. They might be big, hairy, a lycanthrope, but deep down, they are all Sykkuno. Makes me wanna die. I'd love for a dude once to be not recognizable written by a women but alas.
The anxiety depiction was pretty good, though. Points for you, Abby.
