“The Forgotten Stars of The White Swan” has been my favorite so far - I really love the memories of doing drag and building a community, and the line between trans identities and drag… and then the exploration and pressure to keep lives separate, the danger of it meeting

There's something so unsettling about reading the experience of a trans person being chosen to be seen as entertainment in a Circus type thing!!!

Again, this last one was a essay/research paper and once again so confused where's the line between fiction and reality, bc I checked and a lot of the book references were real!!!
