This chapter was so cute! The gestures of the Nicholas and Naomi were very sweet! Now I’m enjoying the book more and feeling giddy and happy for them turning a new leaf and being better partners to each other

I like the character development. Naomi realizing her flaws and going out of her way to shovel the driveway because Nicholas is sick. Also the change in heart about wanting to help him shovel the next time it snows. Becoming more like a team and helping each other is sweet. Like not subjecting him to a visit from his mom if she found out he’s sick knowing she would be overbearing.

Nicholas may have his flaws but he’s also really sweet. Just like Naomi has her flaws but I’m starting to see how they could be compatible and really be together

Mixed feelings so far. I don’t like the premise of deception, toxicity, and unhealthy communication in a relationship like this one. I don’t empathize with Naomi at all, and I don’t feel like Nicholas is as bad as she paints him. She also reads as a pick me, where she it feels like she’s trying hard to be unique. Too much sarcasm. It’s funny at times but tries too hard to be funny
