chapter 7 prob one of my favs so far

Although jealous/envy feel like the highlights of this chapter, resentment stuck out. Not particularly for the clarifications she gave on it but for one example where Brown (paraphrasing) says, “oh i dont have time for those social issues they dont involve me”. I think this is where i find the failures of self help and its individualistic nature. I dont think the conclusion of how to deal with resentment is just.

Chapter 1: pretty good so far i think her examples for each emotion help in looking back at experiences and knowing the appropriate terminology. wish she continued more into the differences of generalized vs social anxiety
