Look, I’m all for recreating the plot for it to be more complex, coz we all know JKR didn’t do that in the OG. But no amount of creative excuses & faults generated for Ron’s character will ever be able to justify the Draco & Hermione ship. It just doesn’t work 😭 these fics always end up mischaracterising Harry & Ron & I don’t like it at all. It’s hard to focus on the plot even though it’s enjoyable.

The reason I do not like reading ship fics in the HP ficdom is coz JKR developed these characters in a way that reorganising the OG romantic ships with other characters does so much injustice to the og pairings & the character left behind 😭 for Dramione fics, it’s usually Ron & I hate it! This fic, too, has come to a point where Hermione has bizarrely rationalised why she’s rejecting Ron for Draco 😭

I literally cannot give a damn about this ship. The only reason why I’m reading it is because I’ve heard from way too many people that this is a more refined ending of the series & it doesn’t turn people apart from the trio to mere caricatures so I’m intrigued.
Plus, the more JKR tweets, the more I hate this series & how some parts of it was handled. So, with this, I’m waiting to be surprised, I guess.
