Still, I wouldn't call these poems great although I sometimes crack a smile at the absurdity - but humans would have done better. I will admit to anthropocentric bias in that regard.

It's crazy how the mere surface of things can feel so continuous. But then, machines specialise in smooth surfaces. Generative art - I'd say I'm a moderate on it. I have used GPT 2 trained on my work twice in my oeuvre. I don't think I'd use it again. AI use is definitely a lot more politicised now and I think I have exhausted all potential. I would say my opinion has certainly got a bit more negative.

I think Brent Katz seems more agreeable to me than Simon Rich - although An American Pickle looks decently funny, I suppose. I appreciated Brent's perspective. One interpretation of the romantic comedy poem apart from Myles' is that the robot wants to experience gender as a human or perhaps that it finds such involuntary sickly sentimentality annoying - wants to rid themselves of that reaction.

I believe in the inner world - I'm a bit of a romantic that way. Still, the works of AI have a kind of non-logic to them, or rather, a logic not of humanity. I am of the theory that AI performs our biases back to us - it saddens me to see people compare themselves to neural networks. still, this simulation of a being... it's interesting to witness.
