Close to dnf'ing this story as well. The misogyny is getting annoying...

I didn't quite know what I wanted to read today, thus I decided to try the first few chapters of a few sci-fi books, I've been meaning to read for a while... This one (I dnf'ed the first story a while ago tbh) is really bringing back why I love Jack Finney's story telling so much.
