Ok, she's beyond stupid. She can't use context clues to guess the meaning of words, she has to have every new expression she encounters explained to her in detail, or she doesn't understand. No wonder the book is 300+ pages. If this continues for much longer it's a DNF for sure.

How can she possibly confuse a grey-purpleish color with brown? Is she color blind? Because with some light those two colors are nothing alike.

OMg, and on top of giving the new expression with plenty of context cues (that I understand, thank you very much, no need for an explanation), then the question from Priya ( who can't understand context cues, it seems), then the explanation from this guy, now Priya also thinks "oh, he's saying this". WTF? How stupid does the author think her readers are?
